Twenty-some years ago, a friend of mine asked me to help her with her bookkeeping. It was supposed to be a temporary job, but I enjoyed it so much that it ended up becoming my career! I define my life by the two best decisions I’ve made: serving my country in the United States Navy, and marrying my wife, Misha. A close third was starting a telecom construction business with my brother. Not only did we build a reputation that still stands to this day, but I learned about small business the hard way: from the ground up.
